I bought this router to flash a vpn firmware that is compatible with the stock Netgear r6300v2. Unfortunately (for me), this item is a modified version of the r6300, customized for an ISP called Charter ( with a blue ribbon on the front instead of a yellow one). For some unknown reason, I have been unable to flash anything on this router, including the Netgear stock firmware.
